The Big Bang! 

On 6 July 2009

After CikWan had finished his talks, seniors just take of his place to give us a short briefing. First of all, we have been told that the orientation week is on 9^th-12^th July 2009 and the fees is RM 36.00 which had included T-shirt and grand dinner.

On 9^th July 2009

5.30pm- There have a lot of games waiting for us. For instance, netball, football, tugs of war, etc.

 * netball and tugs of war have been cancelled.

 When I reached the stadium in USM, staff and students were already there.

They were quite punctuality. Games started on time. Prrticipants were enjoying the games.

Some of them who were not involved in football games just took the photo...for the assignment...

There got one team for staffs and students. In this round, unfortunately, the loser was students...

On 10^th July 2009

3.00pm- Opening ceremony.

 * absent because of attending class LKM 400.

8.30pm- Activity at Dataran Merah.

Before going to Dataran Merah, we were asked to bring scissors, glue, and marker pen.

For WHAT?

Actually is for our own group to do a sculpture, we need to cheers too! After that, every groups need to present the idea of sculpture and cheer in front of seniors and everyone there. Every groups done it very well. 

Until midnight, rain heavily, we went back to hostel without umbrella. I lived in Indah Kembara, far away from HBP. It's already very tired and sleepy! But nevermine, it gave me a very good exprerience.  

On 11^th July 2009  

10.00am- Activity at Dataran Merah.

We were given straw, old news paper, rafia and an egg. The task was to protect the egg by using all these things. Module which had done will be throw from a higher level to test whether the egg was being protected from broken. We were given 2 hour to finish it.

Unfortunately, the only group has the egg broken when throwing from higher level, was group 14th... the rest have all passed...the eggs still available... 

8.30pm- Explorace.

Raining heavily, but explorace still continued. 

First of all, every group was given a clue to find places and pass the obstacle for another clue. Of course, there is a lot of obstacle we need to go through...there is totally 8th clue. And we need to collect all the clues. 

Most importantly, through this explorace, i became more familiar with school of HBP.  

On 12th July 2009

10.00am- Performance.

Everyone gathered at Dataran Merah, the 4th year senior gave us a speech.

After that, every group were required to have their group performance for grand dinner on the day night. Our group's title was given and we got 'metamorphosis'.

Meaning , the change of form.

8.30pm- Grand dinner.

Mask should be wore during the grand dinner. Candle were all around Dataran Merah. This was the last moment we gathered together with seniors who put a lot of heart on this four days orientation. Dr. Aldrin was invited to give a speech and a gift to him was a special mask. 

Later on, performance started and everyone was allowed to have their dinner. Happy ending.
